The morning started out with Sam standing by my bed with the tripod. He wanted to take pictures so I told him to go into the living room while I grabbed my camera. He set up the tripod perfectly. "Nice job," I said, "but you need something to take a photo of." He ran into his room and within seconds was back in the living room with his arms full of stuffed animals.

My Kid Could Paint That
Samuel is afraid of finger paints so, of course, we've been playing with them a lot lately. Once he's comfortable with the texture we're hoping he'll start touching and maybe eating regular food. I added water to the paints and froze them to see if he would like them better since he loves regular ice cubes.
He would ONLY touch the stick
This is about as far as he got before I rubbed the paints all over his hands and feet.
Naturally, he wanted something to wipe his hands on.
And these are the results. He added some leaves too.

32 inches! almost.
Just like every other little boy, Sam often gets comments like, "you're getting so big!" but I think it's really just his hair getting longer because he hasn't tipped the scale in weeks.
However, his 2 year check up with the pediatrician (Sam's absolute favorite doctor) did in fact confirm that he is growing. Slowly but surely. He weighs 25 pounds and is almost 32 inches tall. Nice going, Sam.
